Die Silva Viridis GmbH ist ein Unternehmen mit Sitz in Grünwald (Deutschland), entstanden und gegründet durch die Initiative der in Luxemburg ansässigen Aktiengesellschaft Argentum Viridis S.A. und deren Gründer. Gemeinsam bilden sie den Viridis Verbund mit dem Fokus auf die Entwicklung und Vermarktung von klimawirksamen und ESG-konformen CO₂-Produkten. Silva Viridis hat ein einzigartiges und umfassendes Zuteilungssystem etabliert, das tatsächlich erfolgte CO₂-Minderungen und die Rechte daran in Form von CO₂-Minderungszertifikaten anrechenbar und bilanzwirksam zuteilt. Dabei werden national und international anerkannte CO₂-Minderungsleistungen, wie die Ökosystemleistungen der Natur (z. B. Photosyntheseleistung nationaler Wälder) und Vermeidungsleistungen durch regenerative Erneuerbare Energien (z. B. PV- und Windkraft) identifiziert und quantifiziert. Damit honoriert Silva Viridis die Klimaschutzleistung für Waldeigentümer und deren Forstbetriebe (Eigentümer natürlicher CO₂-Minderungseffekte) sowie für Betreiber von Erneuerbare-Energien-Anlagen (wie z.B. PV- und Windkraft). Die generierten CO₂-Minderungszertifikaten (Carbon Credits) werden zum Ausgleich unvermeidbarer CO₂-Emissionen von Unternehmen, Institutionen und Versorgungsgesellschaften (z.B. Energiebranche & Stadtwerke) und deren Produkte (z.B. Erzeugung von Ökostrom) genutzt. Silva Viridis fungiert als Erzeuger und Partner zugleich und begleitet Ihre Kunden darüber hinaus auf dem Transformationsweg zur Nachhaltigkeit und Klimaneutralität unter Berücksichtigung der ESG-Kriterien und SDGs.

Although numerous climate protection activities have been launched and some are still ongoing, every effort must continue to be made to create solutions and potentials that ensure transparent, more professional, better and sustainable climate protection in order to ensure that climate neutrality is achieved in good time. Despite the early development phase of the climate protection and emissions market, this sector is already undergoing radical change. The first quick, often unsustainable but cost-intensive concepts and systems, some of which were seen as borderline or even cross-border greenwashing, are no longer up to date and make this upheaval absolutely necessary.
At Silva Viridis, we see ourselves in the role of innovation driver and take a pioneering position in actively reshaping the market, developing and implementing specially customised solutions with the aim of supporting companies in their transformation to sustainable management and, above all, to climate neutrality. This must be done quickly, successfully and economically. In addition to cross-departmental expertise in engineering, sustainability and emissions trading, the special task is to strike a balance between environmental and climate requirements and the needs and living space of people and our economy:

Climate protection and sustainability must therefore be thought of and implemented differently. Of course, Silva Viridis and the entire team also focus on the environment (nature) and its protection and future, but we do not neglect the needs and concerns of people, especially companies and organisations. On the contrary, this is the only way we can successfully implement climate protection and neutrality. The forest with its CO₂ reduction performance and CO₂ avoidance through renewable energies (greenhouse gas avoidance) is our greatest asset - Climate protection pays off!
